At the Y children learn how to defend themselves, but also the proper application for their new skills. They emerge as better and more mature individuals, capable of self-control and discipline.

    Soccer is the world’s most popular sport, and with good reason. Unlike some sports, soccer players do not shine for their brute strength. Rather, the best
    players stand out for their skills and strategy, as well as their ability to work with others.

Strengthening Communities

Our Village of Allapattah YMCA Family Center and Preschool strengthens community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Located just west of downtown Miami near Jackson Memorial Hospital, our Y makes sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters of our Annual Campaign, we are able to offer financial assistance for many of our programs.
